I purchased stock during extended trading hours, do I have to sell it during that time too?

  2. No, absolutely not. You own it. You can sell it whenever you want.
    I’m just curious how you bought during extended hours. I know that stocks trade after hours and pre-market but I don’t know how to trade then or if I even can. May I ask what broker you used to make the purchase? thanks

  3. if you don’t know the answer to that question, then i suggest you seriously don’t trade after hours…or even during regular hours

    You can keep a stock for as long as you want once you acquire it, whether it be before, after, during hours. if you dont put a sell order on it then its yours forever
